CAN I MAKE A FERRY RESERVATION? 

  • Yes, vehicle reservations are available by pre-booking in person at our main office at Matautu-tai, Apia.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE FERRY TERMINAL? 

  • Check in at the ticketing window at least 1 hour before departure for vehicles and 30 minutes for foot passengers.

DOES THE FERRY OPERATE IN ROUGH WEATHER? 

  • Safety is our priority, and the decision to sail during rough weather rests with the captain.

ARE THERE PENALTY FEES? 

  • Yes. A penalty fee applies when you miss your scheduled ferry sailing if you change existing confirmed dates and times of travel or vehicle type that is scheduled for sailing with us when traveling Domestic Route Mulifanua - Salelologa.

DOES THE FERRY OPERATE ON CHRISTMAS AND OTHER PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?

  • Yes, our ferries operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

IS A PENSIONER CONCESSION available for people traveling in vehicles?

  • Pensioners must present their valid pensioner identification cards to travel for free, applicable to domestic services only.

Can you pay by credit card or EFTPOS?

  • Payment can now be made by credit card (for all local cards BSP ONLY) and (for all overseas cards Visa, Matercard, Plus, mastro and Visa) / EFTPOS and available at our main office at Matautu tai, Apia.  All fares are inclusive of GST and Samoa Shipping Corporation reserves the right to alter times and/or fares without prior notice.

Is there food onboard?

  • A Food Bar/Canteen is only available selling a range of fresh hot and cold food and drinks on MV Lady Samoa III and MV Samoa Express II for decent prices. No alcohol sold or served on the vessel/s.

Is there secure parking at Mulifanua and Salelologa Wharf? 

  • Free and secure parking is available at both Mulifanua and Salelologa terminals.

Can I take my rental car on the ferry?

  • Yes, rental cars can be brought on the ferry, but passengers should confirm with their rental car company beforehand.
